February 18, 2009 Day +2149 Day +1847 off therapy

Taylor had some issues this morning. Nothing serious, but rather funny. It was pj day and the first thing he did was spill his drink in his lap. We dug through the drawer and he could not settle on another pair, so I threw the pants in the dryer an we went with it that way. He was so excited. He had a blanket and stuffed animal packed and ready to go. We pull up to school and I stop at the curb and he looks at me and says, “I am afraid!” This was a thing only for his class, so he did not see anyone in pj’s and he was nervous. Can’t say that I blame him, but it was too late then no matter what. So, he got out of the car, but I could see those eyes darting around looking for more pj’s.

Logan had a good day. He was a good boy at school only getting his name called a few times for nothing worth mentioning. Yeah!!!

The tornado sirens went off right as the bell was ringing for school to be out. By law they must keep them in, but if we go in and get them they will release them, so in we went. I was not sitting there for a warning in Trussville. We got the bad stuff later on in the evening, but nothing more than some wind and lots of rain.

Taylor brought home his progress report. His language is going up and math stayed the same and spelling is going down. He made a 72 and a 87 and several 91’s this time. I am not sure what happened on the 72, he had spelled all those words right all week long. That is okay, everyone has an off day. He still has a/b if he can maintain it for the next half of the semester. He brought home graded papers too. He had some great math grades and great language grades. I don’t know if he just gets this part better or if the aid is really helping him, but his grades are going in the right direction. Yeah!! Way to go Taylor!

Please be in prayer for Taylor. Pray he never again has cancer in his body. Pray for all of our friends!
