2017…..wow! We are nearly 15 years from diagnosis day. We are nearly 14 years from hearing NED. We are 13 years from getting back to “normal”. Those are all huge things, but 2017 brought another big number, 16!!!!! Taylor turned 16 on January 19th!!! God is so good! In 2002 we were not sure he would turn 2 and here we are at 16!!!! Thank you Jesus!!

As far as other news, it’s been more of the same. The boys hunted, logan got a deer! We went to Disney. Logan played a baseball youth tourney in FL. His team won 1st!!! We went back to Disney for Taylor’s bday. 

Baseball will be in full swing soon and that will keep us busy. 

Today marks 14 years since Taylor was diagnosed. Doesn’t seem real! I still remember what I was wearing. I remember my socks were bothering me. I remember screaming into my moms red suit. I remember the rooms we sat in, calling my boss to say I wasn’t coming back to work….ever. I remember so many random thoughts like it was yesterday yet it wasn’t. It was 14 years ago. Our God is so good!!! He has blessed us with Taylor’s healing and continues good health. He is small and a little slower to grasp things, but he is thriving and succeeding! Praise God!!!!!

Since our last update……

We had homecoming for both boys. Lots of rolling and homecoming dress up. Logan got stitches when he and the golf cart fell off the retaining wall. Logan collided with a girl and hurt his knee. Taylor has remained safe during all Logans antics!!! Thank goodness!! 

Taylor’s bear that he killed last year finally arrived and we couldn’t have asked for a better day for it to come! 

We stay busy with school and sports. Not much changes with that!!! 

It hasn’t been long since the last post, but we’ve been busy as usual!

Logan won a trip to play ball in NYC. He met some Mets coaches/players, was on tv, went to several MLB games and got yelled at by tommy lasorta! lol!!

While they were off doing that, Taylor, Guh and I met up with other family members at the lake. We had some fun in the sun and fun on the boat.

We’ve started school! We are not ready, but have a lot of fun stuff to look forward to as the year goes, so that will make it go faster!! I hope!!! 

Taylor is in 10th grade!!! He is enjoying his classes so far and enjoying riding with a friend. He’s looking at joining the fishing team. It’s brand new to the school and we hope it makes. 

He will take drivers Ed 2nd semester and turn 16 in January. How crazy is that!!!! Bittersweet!!! God is good!!

Logan is in 7th grade. He too is enjoying his classes. He is running cross country and practicing a lot. His first meet is coming up this week. We shall see how this goes. Not sure it’s his thing???
