Thank you to all the Veterans out there who have fought for our country and given us the freedom that we enjoy in this country. Thank you to all the military men and women who are fighting for our country now.
Today I had to be up early to go to the dentist. That is always fun. It wasn’t so bad. I found that magic 96 had Christmas music on already, so I sang goofy Christmas songs on the way. I know, I am a nerd!
I was done at the dentist by 9:45 and I went to get the boys from Guh’s. Logan was not behaving and Taylor was pouting. They planted Christmas trees at Guh’s house and will watch them grow. We shall see how that goes! By 10:45 we were on our way back home.
I had heard all the whining I could take, so I sent them outside. Taylor is snotty already, but I was tired of hearing it. I am also so tired of hearing Taylor cry. Okay, all you parents out there of 8 year old boys who have never had cancer. Are they cry babies naturally or is Taylor special. I hate to say it, I love him dearly, but he is the biggest cry baby. He cries if it is too cold to go outside, Logan comes to his room, he has to take a bath not a shower, he doesn’t get the towel he wants, it is homework time, Logan picked the cartoon, he wanted coke not tea, he wanted purple gummies not yellow…….and we could go on and on and on. I have tried to be nice about, I have tried to ignore it, I have told him he was a cry baby and nothing stops it. Help!!!!
Logan on the other hand is not a cry baby just mean as crap. He does not listen and does not care. I have spanked him, yelled at him, put him to bed, not let him go outside, thrown toys away, turned the tv off, not given chocolate milk and on and on and on and he still doesn’t behave. Help!!!
Anyway, we went to Chickfila for lunch. They got in trouble for disrupting by acting nuts at the table. They got in big trouble. Logan didn’t care and Taylor cried. I felt an inch tall. We went to Lowe’s and they got in trouble for climbing in and out of the shelves. Hello, did you not just cry for getting in trouble and then you start it up again. UURGH!!! We came home and had to do a few things outside and they got Sam out to play frisbee. I be danged if they did not start fighting over which frisbee to throw.
Note to all, I am an only child, so I don’t get it, but it is annoying! Other than the fighting and crying, I guess the day was okay. Yes, I am so glad to have Taylor hear and healthy and fighting and all, but it still gets old. I tell you people are not going to want them around if they keep up this behavior, it must stop.
Okay, now that I have vented. I can move on. We went to the toll house cookie place and the boys had ice cream. That was fun. They played wii for a while and rode bikes. It was all fine.
Please pray for Taylor and that he never again has cancer in his body. Pray for those who are still fighting this beast.
