August 24, 2015 Day +4527 post transplant Day +4225 off therapy

we have been super busy!!!!

Taylor finished therapy inpatient wise and continues to do exercises at home. He still has pain, but mostly if he has been very active. I think it’s just something he will deal with through puberty.

Last I wrote it was early March. We went to, of course, Disney for spring break. Then we came home just in time for Easter. Logan hurt his ankle the Saturday after Disney. He ended up in a boot for a bit. It was just a sprain, but he is so bad to turn that ankle that it had just gotten worse and worse.

April brought lots of baseball and travel. Fun as always!!!
May brought more baseball. Brought getting both boys ready to move to new schools. Logan was chosen to be in all honors classes. We are very proud of him, but he will have to work hard!

June was a little bit restful since school was out, but not really!! Logan had sibling camp. Taylor had another round of neuropsych testing. He also had his annual oncology visit which was great!!!! We went to the beach where elite came in 3rd out of 33 in the World Series.

July brought teen camp for Taylor. Logan, Jim and paw paw took a trip to see several mlb games and landmarks along the way. Guh and I took Taylor to Disney again. Then gammaw, ghen ghen, Taylor and I met the boys in Indiana. There the boys came in 2nd place.

We got home at 7:30am and started registering kids for school!!! Logan will be in 6th at the middle school and Taylor will be in 9th at the high school.

August brought school! Poo!!! Summer was way to short and it’s way to hot to be in school! Taylor is loving high school. He has a church friend, one of my old teachers, one of Jims old coaches, the ex Ed dept. is fabulous!!!!!! Logan is the football manager and loving it. He is much more social than taylor so this middle school thing is more his speed!
