About the Ride of Love

The Ride of Love is something I experienced for the first time last year while Taylor was at Camp. To see the hard work those riders put in and how satisfied they looked knowing they just raised money and awarness for Camp Sam and Childhood cancer was very rewarding to witness first hand. It was at that moment that I wanted to have that same experience, so I have decided to dedicate myself to get in shape and hopefully receive that satisfaction May 19th, 2007 when I cross over that bridge and see all those children, including my son waiting there. The ride this year was great. Coming over that bridge and seeing all those children cheering, and seeing Taylor standing there yelling made the ride something I will never forget. To know and understand what cancer does to these children and how Camp Smile A Mile helps make it a little easier to battle, made every mile I rode this year worth it. I can’t wait for next year!
